We know that trying to make sense of your insurance benefit can be confusing at times. But our team is here to help you make sense of it all. In most cases, your dental plan will offer a lifetime benefit for orthodontics. In other words, this means each individual on your plan will be allotted a fixed amount for their orthodontic treatment.
Almost every dental insurance plan can be used to partially cover the cost of traditional metal braces for patients under the age of 18. Coverage for adults or patients seeking more esthetically-motivated treatment varies from plan to plan. Before beginning treatment we encourage you to review your insurance policy and ask your provider specifically what type of orthodontic coverage you qualify for. Grayslake Orthodontics is an in-network provider with a variety of dental insurance plans. This means we’re able to help our patients save as much as possible on their orthodontic care. We also work with many out-of-network plans, so if you don’t see your provider on the list below, please call our orthodontic office.
